With 7 weeks to go until Christmas is upon us, we may not want to start thinking about that snowy, once a year, gift filled event, but we might just have to.
To make sure that your Christmas is fun filled and as relaxed and un-stressful as possible each week I will be filling up a blog post full of tips and tricks to keep you merry this Christmas season. This week > Start your Gift List
John Berryman US poet and novelist wrote this quote in 1942
Everyone works differently.
I love deadlines and I work best under pressure.
But this also means that I am very good at procrastination.
I need to structure my days carefully otherwise I get nothing done, or at least not what I am meant to be getting done. I’ve tried lots of different methods, including never ending lists. And I found that trying to do too much was almost as bad as doing too little. Here are the rules that work for me.
I recently put in place a self impossed ban on buying any new Design notebooks because I simply have too many. If I see a beautiful notebook I simply have to buy it. But as part of my new mantra I am using up what I have before buying more.
I use notebooks constantly, for everything from new ideas and designs to favourite quotes and my shopping lists. Although I am a fully fledged technology addict there is nothing quite like turning the first page in a new notebook. I still use a day by day Diary to plan meetings, ideas and to do lists and I am never without a notebook of some form.
